Fashion Sakala announced his ‘arrival’ in style today at Motherwell, with his hat-trick endearing him to the vocal Rangers support.
With three varied types of goals, the Zambian showed his quality, as well as his unpredictable style, with a perfectly timed header, a cut inside and shot as well as a poacher’s finish after a very well timed run to get on the end of Steven Davis’ majestic lofted cross.
Hat-trick and a match ball was secured but Sakala has stated that more is to come.
The affable forward, a Bosman signing last Summer, from Belgian outfit Oostende once again showed his humility, hunger and determination on the pitch, but his final impact would be made once the talking on the pitch was done.
Firstly, walking back to the dressing room, Sakala was overjoyed with the recption of the Rangers supporters, holding his matchball in the air like a prized posession and then in his post-match interview, that infectious smile and happiness was beaming for all to see.
