It’s been a feisty affair so far, but there is no goals yet at Ibrox in the old firm encounter.
Rangers have lost Lee McCulloch to injury, while Celtic have lost young defender Rogne to injury also. There has been great saves from both goalkeepers.
Rangers’ best chances have been from Kris Boyd, and Kenny Miller, while McGregor made a superb save from a Robbie Keane volley. Boyd had a chance early on after being set up superbly, but Boruc forced him wide and his shot hit the side netting.
Rangers had a Maurice Edu goal chopped off after Kenny Miller had hand balled. Allan McGregor produced a stunning save from Robbie Keane, after Miller had a close range effort blocked by Boruc.
It has not been a classic so far by any means, but there is still another half to go, let’s hope Rangers can find a goal or two.
