Above, on his Instagram account today, Jack sent a message to the fans on his frustrations.
His last game was the 4-1 win over Dundee United at Ibrox in February – causing him to miss out on several big games since, but he has been in and around the squad, especially for the title celebrations.
There will be questions and doubts regarding Jack’s future given his injury record, but that will be taken care of in-house by Steven Gerrard and the backroom staff.
At this stage, it would appear unlikely that the Aberdonian will return to action before the end of the season.
If that comes to fruition, the pre-season ahead will be a massive one for the popular player.
For now, he has the best wishes of everyone in his pursuit of a return to full fitness.
