Having found the back of the net in Rangers most recent pre-season friendly against Wigan Athletic at Ibrox and also bagging our winner in the Europa League away leg against Osijek earlier in the week, most will understand striker Alfredo Morelos sending an extremely polite message to his critics of late.

The 22-year-old has certainly become the subject of criticism after a dip in his level of finishing and issues being raised about his overall performance levels, and there have been a number of calls for the club to simply cash in on him and bring in a replacement, but the last two matches have restored hope for plenty amongst the fan base.

It also seems to have done wonders for his own confidence as he took to social media to post.

Courtesy of Google Translate:

“Never bend your head, never say you can not, never limit yourself, and never stop believing in yourself.”

Fans were quick to latch onto this and the encouragement flowed with the Premiership kick-off around the corner with hopes he’ll have his best season yet in front of the net for us.
