Glenn Middleton scored his first Rangers goal on Saturday and fans are hugely excited by his potential.

Steven Gerrard hasn’t been shy in introducing the player to first-team action this season, handing him nine appearances so far, all of which have come from the bench.

After his latest display against Dundee though, is he destined to get his first start for the club soon?

The 18-year-old became the first Rangers player born in the 2000s to score for the club on Saturday, netting the fourth goal in a 4-0 rout of Neil McCann’s Dundee.

He came on in the second half and was a live-wire throughout, demonstrating his enormous potential once again.

Joining from Norwich City in the January transfer window, he hasn’t taken long to force his way into first-team plans at the club despite his tender age.

The faith Gerrard has put in him is now being repaid and we can’t wait to see where he goes from here.

These fans took to Twitter over the weekend to share their thoughts on the player…
