A season like no other.
On the pitch, things couldn’t really be much better.
The opposite applies off the pitch, with Rangers march to 55 being played out against a backdrop of no noise, colour, passion or feeling from the fans inside stadiums.
In some ways it has probably provided a benefit for the players to some extent with the immediate crowd pressure removed, but it is not football as it should be, nor should it be normalised.
This season has been all about our title charge, regardless of what has been going on across the city.
Given that last year’s title for Celtic was not won on the pitch, but bestowed upon them with the merits of a Zoom call or similar, a discredited nine was a fitting prelude to a failure for ten.
Most importantly, Rangers have continued to do the business this season on the pitch, when it has really mattered.
Fans being locked out from Ibrox for the imminent title celebrations is a pity, but such is life at present unfortunately.
