Nottingham Forest supporters appear to be eager to see the return of on-loan Rangers defender Joe Worrall to the City Ground in January.
As reported by outlets such as The Scottish Sun, Aitor Karanka is considering the prospect of recalling the 21-year-old after an injury to veteran central defender Craig Dawson.
It leaves Forest with something of a defensive crisis and Worrall is thought to now be trusted enough to play regularly in the English Championship.
Although he’s had his ups and downs so far at the Gers, he is undeniably a talent with significant potential and perhaps most importantly, trusted by Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.
Losing him mid-season would represent a significant blow to Gerrard’s first-team squad and put pressure on the club to find an adequate replacement in the January transfer window.
Plenty of Forest fans love the idea of a Worrall return and took to Twitter this weekend to share their thoughts…
???? for Daws. Been immense since he came back into the side. If its a lenghty injury. A CB must be a priority in Jan. Or Worrall recall if that's possible. #NFFC

Would love to see Worrall back playing in a Forest shirt. I just wish Dawson was fit enough to play alongside him because I think he'd be a great mentor and really help Worrall on. #nffc
