Rangers fans are delighted that Steven Gerrard’s team have progressed into the next round of UEFA Europa League qualifying, but it was an opposition player that many were impressed with at Ibrox.
NK Osijek captain Borna Barisic was again a stand-out for the Croatian side, giving Rangers plenty of problems down the right flank.
The 25-year-old also got on the scoresheet late on to make things tense in stoppage time.
A Croatian international, the player appears to tick plenty of boxes and could provide serious competition for places on the left side, clearly having enough to his game to play at either left-back or left midfield.
Many feel that the club should be making an offer as soon as possible for the star, especially since the the club appear to be interested in the Croatian market after the signing of Nikola Katic.
