Rangers’ have an incredible number of fantastic players at the club. That strength in depth has only grown this month, too, given the arrivals at Ibrox. Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis, in particular, will add some real quality to the team.
However, the quality in our squad means that there isn’t room for everyone that’s on the books at Rangers, and so some players, unfortunately, will always have to leave.
Still, many of them are sent out on loan, and many of them could yet make their name at Ibrox. One such example is young Ryan Hardie, who this week signed a new deal at the club and returned to Livingston on loan for the rest of the season.
Hardie will head back out on-loan for the rest of the season to Livingston, with whom he has played seven times so far scoring five goals: https://t.co/1S22Qiqe9s pic.twitter.com/mTRWuDNqtJ

He’s clearly highly valued at the club, as otherwise, the Gers wouldn’t have offered him fresh terms only to send him out on loan again. They’re clearly predicting a bright future, and many Rangers fans agree, it seems.
In response to the news, many Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Hardie, and it’s clear that they want to see more of him in the future. See what they’ve had to say below…
Would rather him than Shankland anyway

Surprised hasn’t played more with that goal scoring record this season.

Top tier loan & continuing to score at that goal to game ratio for rest of season will give indication if he can make step up to Rangers 1st team, good solution????????
