Many Rangers fans are keen on seeing the club make a move for attacking midfielder Lewis MacLeod this summer after he was released by Brentford at the end of the English Championship season.
MacLeod exited Ibrox four-and-a-half years ago after failing to agree a new contract at the club and eventually being sold to the Bees.
Since then he’s only managed to make 43 appearances for the second-tier side, struggling with injury and fitness problems for a number of seasons.
He’s always had ability and even this term, making 18 league appearances, he’s shown glimpses of attacking quality, scoring three goals and assisting twice.
Still just 24 years of age, the Gers academy graduate will likely be an asset to the next club he ends up at if a manager can get him fit, confident and playing regular football.
Should that be at Ibrox?
We’ve signed worse players and some fans are certainly keen on him re-joining the club, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts this week…

Lewis MacLeod released from Brentford!! @RangersFC should get him signed back up. He can provide creativity that has at times been lacking this season and chips in with goals! #signhimupstevie
