Rangers are out for revenge today against a team who have beaten them on all three previous games this season including two 3-0 victories at Ibrox, one of which came only a couple of weeks ago in the Scottish Cup Fourth Round tie.

Hibernian have got the better of Rangers this season for sure but their boss Tony Mowbray reckons that they are still the underdogs for this game.

Rangers will want to win this one to lift themselves about Hibernian in the table and to give themselves a much needed boost ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Villarreal.

Alex McLeish comes up against his former team for the last time as Rangers manager at Ibrox and he will be desperate to mark the occasion with winning all three points at Ibrox.

It will be without any shadow of a doubt though a very tough game, Hibernian have got some of the best young players in the league at the moment and Rangers have been struggling in defence.

Julien Rodriguez could come into the team in place of Kyrgiakos or Andrews but Hibs manager Tony Mowbray backed the two defenders by saying he would snap them up in a minute for his team if he had the chance.

Rangers have had a season they’d rather forget but they could still salvage something from it by qualifying for the Champions League Quarter-Finals and beating Hibernian here today to start working towards getting that second place in the league.
