An explosive Rangers response has came to light this afternoon, in the ongoing scandal regarding Rangers fans celebrations and the club’s communications around it.

Peter Adam Smith of ITV News has exposed the SNP and Police Scotland with the publication of a letter from Ibrox chairman Douglas Park, outlining in damning terms the extent of Rangers contact with the authorities ahead of last weekend.

The full extent of the Gers salvo can be read above, in the leaked letter.

It states Rangers ‘deep element of concern’ after the club was branded a disgrace.

Park asks for the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and Justice Minister Humza Yousaf to clarify their comments ‘in light of the facts now presented’.

Rangers have made it clear that:

“Nothing will be achieved through megaphone diplomacy or using Rangers as a political football’

The club has also asked the SNP’s representatives for a level of balance and fairness.

Much more to come on this ongoing saga – VitalRangers will have it covered.
