Gers fans say goodbye to trio

Rangers fans bid three of their heroes goodbye on Sunday as they made their last appearances on the Ibrox pitch, albeit having not played the game.

Stefan Klos, Dado Prso and Gavin Rae will all leave the club at the end of the season, and for the crowd, the most emotional goodbye was reserved for cult hero Dado Prso.

Many fans wore Dado Prso headbands, Croatian tops and Dado Prso flags as they turned up to say goodbye to their hero. Most of them stayed behind after the game, despite the defeat to pay tribute to Dado as well as Stefan Klos who spent several years at the club and was a great servant, and Gavin Rae who will leave at the end of his contract.

Prso had hoped to recover from illness to play some part in the defeat to Kilmarnock, but rotten luck robbed him of a game after he picked up ligament damage. The big Croatian limped onto the Ibrox pitch on a single crutch to bid an emotional farewell to the Ibrox faithful.

The striker who spent three seasons at Ibrox looked emotional as he took centre stage between Stefan Klos and Gavin Rae. The rest of the first team squad then formed two lines and applauded Prso, Klos and Rae off the Ibrox pitch.

I have to admit, I felt a little tear in my eye myself as I watched the scenes. Prso was only here for three seasons but he made such a big impact at the club. It was also sad to see such a professional, and good servant to the club, Stefan Klos, leave after all these years.

The three heroes shook the hands of all their team mates as they left the pitch, but the most emotional moment was when Dado was embraced by club captain Barry Ferguson, two great pals together on the Ibrox pitch for the last time.

Thanks for the memories guys, and all the best for the future. Follow Follow!
