According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has told Graham Dorrans that he is free to leave the club this summer and find new employment.

The attacking midfielder has got plenty of quality but we have not been able to see that in a blue shirt as much as we would have liked.

Indeed, injury has seriously hampered with him and with Joe Aribo arriving it seems as though Steven Gerrard has come to the end of waiting for Dorrans.

The report suggests that Gerrard has told the former West Brom man to leave the club and find somewhere new to play and it remains to be seen where exactly he ends up.

Certainly, though, he is a decent footballer still and you would have thought that, if he can prove his fitness, he’ll get a decent gig in this country once again.

Steven, though, clearly doesn’t want to wait around any more and that is understandable.
