With Rangers 2-0 down against Braga at Ibrox, Steven Gerrard made early and positive changes as Joe Aribo and Florian Kamberi came on to replace the largely ineffective Glen Kamara and Ryan Kent and inspire the 3-2 victory with a little help from Ianis Hagi.
Although it was Aribo that will grab most of the headlines, the on-loan Hibs forward made an instant impression with a series of direct runs and his pace in behind caused the Portuguese team problems until the final whistle.
Kent has been below his normal standards since the winter break but was still unfortunate not to get on the scoresheet with Alfredo Morelos failing to pick him out when he had taken up good positions – unmarked – in the opposition’s box, but with Gerrard looking to go more direct he took the proactive option of making the changes in an effort to chase the game.
Should Florian Kamberi start ahead of Ryan Kent at the weekend?
Yes
No
Gers fans feel that Kent still has enough credit in the bank not to be written off and appears to be in need of a break with many hoping that Kamberi will now be given game time from the start having impressed with his appearances off the bench so far for the Light Blues.
Surely kamberi starts Sunday now?

Kamara struggled the whole time he was on. Dunno whats going on with him atm he’s been horrific for weeks. Thought Kamberi changed it, he just gave us something different in attack

After tonight – I think we will see some changes to the Rangers side for the rest of the season. We looked more deadly with Kamberi on the pitch than we have in ages.
Morelos is really off the boil right now as well….— Paul Godsman (@Godsy11) February 21, 2020
Aye – thought he was a lot better myself after Kamberi came on. Perhaps we should be experimenting with two up front.

With Morelos suspended (EL) get Stewart up top on Sunday. I’d also like to see Kamberi in for Kent in a change of formation as it worked last night.
But what an unbelievable night. All was lost at HT but what a come back. Hopefully the start if a run. Superb night.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

With Morelos suspended for the second leg, Kamberi may be given the nod through the middle next Thursday, and after his recent impact there are few Gers fans that would have any complaints about the big man being given a run in the team.
