Rangers get their UEFA Europa League group stage off and running this evening as we take on a Feyenoord side that is going to be a tough test at Ibrox.
What was already set to be an emotionally charged affair given the atmosphere our fans always create, has just been given a little more poignancy given the news about Fernando and his passing.
Hopefully, the Gers can put on a performance that is befitting of his warrior-like approach to both the game and life itself.
Indeed, Steven Gerrard was asked about the approach he’ll be looking for the Gers to take tonight, and he has said that we’ll be looking to get at the Dutch via the club’s official Twitter account:
🎙️ SG: I would like to see how they deal with their strengths, it doesn't matter who comes to Ibrox we want to play our game.

That is exactly what we want to see, especially after how poor we were against Celtic.
Get them under the cosh early doors and let’s see if we can kick this group off in style.
