‘Gerrard must be fuming’ – Many Rangers fans were not happy with one key player vs Celtic

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos receives a booking

Rangers have suffered their first defeat of the Steven Gerrard era after losing 1-0 to Celtic at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon.

Sadly, in many ways, it was a performance that has become typical of recent derbies against Brendan Rodgers’ side, with the Gers again somehow caught in the headlights and not up for the fight.

It was only due to the heroics of Allan McGregor that the scoreline wasn’t larger.

One players fans are particularly unhappy with is Alfredo Morelos, who struggled to make an impact on the game in any meaningful way and missed a golden chance after bodying defender Dedryck Boyata.

The Colombian, who has just signed a lucrative new deal at the club, looked below the standard he had set in the earlier stages of this season.

These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance…
