Rangers striking prospect Ryan Hardie is set to be offered a new contract at Ibrox to ensure he stays at the club beyond this season, as reported by The Daily Record.
The 21-year-old signed a new one year deal last summer and is set to be given a renewed opportunity in the first-team squad, despite likely being sent back out on loan for the second half of this season.
Livingston want him back after his lethal scoring form in December and the Gers are already well stocked in attack with Alfredo Morelos, Kyle Lafferty and Jermain Defoe.
Hardie will be looking to impress again over the next few months with a view to making a big squad impact when he returns to Ibrox in the summer.
Fans have been impressed with the player’s progress and were happy to see him recalled to take part in warm weather training in Tenerife.
These supporters took to Twitter this week to discuss keeping him at Ibrox, eager to have him around the club…

I like Hardie. He’s a natural finisher. He’s filled out as well, I’d be happy to keep him.
