It’s been a fine window for Rangers this month with plenty of top players coming and a real air of excitement floating about the club.
Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis look particularly good signings for us and many are thinking that they could fire us to 55 – and not just onlookers connected with our club.
For sure, it’s been a decent month but it could be that we actually don’t end up signing anyone else before the end of the window.
Indeed, as quoted by the Scottish Sun, manager Steven Gerrard has said that he is satisfied with what we have got, as he praised Mark Allen and the board:
“I’m happy and satisfied. I think we have done really well in this window, getting the calibre of player that we have for nothing, for free.”
This may well surprise a fair few of us, then, as plenty of rumours are going around but perhaps we won’t sign anyone else.
Then again, it could mean he is still looking even if he is happy with what he has got – we shall soon see.
