It’s been a pretty exciting transfer window so far for all involved with the club and there is still plenty of time for more signings to come in.
The Gers were quick out of the transfer traps this month in terms of signing players with the likes of Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis joining.
Indeed, other players like Jordan Jones have signed for the future, too, and so it is clear our squad is looking stronger and only going to get so in the seasons to come.
We might not be done just yet in terms of this window, though, with Steven Gerrard’s latest comments hinting that he is looking for further improvement.
He has had this to say via the Express:
“Jordan and Glen are signings for the big picture but I’ve got a responsibility to try and improve the team now and get results now but also think about trying to strengthen the squad for the years to come.”
For sure, it seems as though we’re firmly looking at other players to come in so it’d be no surprise to see others arrive before Deadline Day.
