As per the Scottish Sun, Rangers have left Jake Hastie once again out of the squad for the Europa League with our game against FC Midtjylland now just around the corner.
The Gers know that a win over the Scandinavian side over two legs will see them face either Legia Warsaw or Atromitos in the play-off round and then, after that, it’s the group stages.
Providing we get that far, though, it remains to be seen how much of a part that youngster Hastie plays as he is once again omitted from the squad.
We saw him out of the squad for the tie with Progres after failing to really impress during the tie with Gibraltarian side St Joseph’s.
It seems as though he has got a bit of work to do, then, but he is still a young player that is learning to adapt so we should get panicky just yet.
If he can knuckle down, he can obviously get back involved.
