At the post match press conference yesterday, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard gave an early assessment on the injury to Ryan Jack that caused him to be replaced by Glen Kamara, early in the 4-1 win over Dundee United.
VitalRangers was live at Ibrox and in attendance to hear the manager’s thoughts, following another comprehensive victory for his side as they close in on the title.
Steven Gerrard was positive and upbeat at the post-match presser, he said it's 'only natural' to look toward the finish line but still work to do.

On the injury to midfield man Jack, he stated:
“We’ll check that one out in the next 24 hours, we’ll send him for a scan.”
“We’re hoping he has reported the injury before it has become a bigger problem, as he felt some tightness in his calf but until we get the scan, we won’t know the extent of the injury.”
“Im disappointed to see him go off because he has come back from the previous injury really bright and everyone knows how important he is to us so fingers cross the outcome is positive rather than negative”
Jack walked off the pitch with his sock rolled down, clearly frustrated with a new setback.
He he aded straight up the tunnel to the dressing room for immediate initial treatment having had no obvious incident on the pitch to cause the injury.
It seems very unlikely that the Scotland international will feature in the return leg, Europa League clash against Royal Antwerp but a further update will be provided on Wednesday, ahead of that game.
