As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has maintained that there have been no bids for striker Alfredo Morelos.

The last full month of the window is here and, up to now, Morelos has remained a Rangers player without anyone really having a go at getting him.

That’s obviously a good thing, and it seems as though it remains the case that Steven Gerrard and the club have not fielded any bids for him so far.

When asked about apparent interest from China, he said:

“I’m unaware of it. There have been no bids. It is as you were from the last time.”

Some good news, then, and hopefully it’ll stay this way until the end of the window.

If Alfredo is still at the club come September we have a real chance of winning the league this season and I would expect Gerrard and co. to fight tooth and nail if any bids do come in to keep him.

At the moment, though, it seems like we don’t need to do that.
