Having seen Celtic open up a small gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, Rangers knew exactly what their job was early this afternoon as we faced Hamilton Academicals.
With Ryan Jack opening the scoring seven minutes in, we did see the hosts level matters up shortly after, but a Ryan Kent masterclass saw him pick up the brace. Firstly, reopening our advantage shortly ahead of the halftime mark, and then hitting in stoppage time to settle the match down again as they pushed for another leveller.
Both Ryan’s on the day attracted the attention and praise of fans on social media as they reflected on the 90 minutes, and both offered something slightly different to manager Steven Gerrard – but with Kent taking the obvious headlines from the match – I’ll more focus on Jack in these responses, albeit they are mixed a touch between the impressive duo.
