Marvin Andrews’ warning about Ryan Kent being hard to get this summer does seem to be proving accurate at the moment, worryingly.

The former player was quoted by the Scottish Sun as saying that getting him in was going to be hard as, thanks to his performances last season, the amount of interest in him would increase.

Indeed, he had this to say:

“After Kent’s performances last season you have to remember that Rangers won’t be the only club looking at him.

“There will be other clubs sniffing about and if someone comes in with big money then it will be difficult for Rangers.”

And, at the moment, he looks to be right as the Gers still haven’t got him in and do not seem massively close to getting him to arrive.

Indeed, he is linked with a move back to our club according to the likes of the Express with Steven Gerrard apparently very keen to have him back at Ibrox.

There seems to be no signs that an agreement is close, though, but until he has left Liverpool for someone else we can still hope that something is going to be done.

We’ll surely soon see what is going to happen here.
