This one aged very well.

Back in January when the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership was getting bigger, Twitter user @Ruth_Less_Lady decided to put some comments of Celtic minded writers, activists and other journalists under the microscope.

What was revealed was a great sense of arrogance, entitlement and in some cases, a shocking lack of judgement. Go check it out.

Over the last few years, the likes of Graham Spiers, ex-SPL chief Roger Mitchell and Paul Brennan of CQN were so sure in their assessment of Celtic’s relative position of strength, that they took great pleasure in sticking the boot into Rangers, whilst making very outlandish assertions.

It was a case that permanent, perpetual dominance had been secured for Celtic and that Rangers had been left behind…or so they thought.

One of the main benefits of Rangers very early title triumph is that all fans get to fully embrace it and to take great pleasure in returning the serve, following everything we have had to endure from the gloating of our rivals over the last decade.

That time is now over.

The fabled ten was accepted as a forgone conclusion, taken for granted and assumed as in the bag until it was too late and the damage was done, much of it self-inflicted.

Rangers are now champions once again, the 55th title has landed.

There is a new show in town – for your viewing pleasure.

Enjoy!
