New season, same routine.
Following the release of fixtures for the 2021/22 Premiership campaign a few weeks ago, as is now customary, the first edit has been made.
It is the first Old Firm clash of the season which has been changed.
Taking place at Ibrox, the encounter between Scotland’s champions and the other half of the Old Firm will now happen on Sunday 29th August – pushed back 24 hours from the original slot.
The game will have a 12 noon kick off, as confirmed by Rangers and the SPFL, in what will be the fourth game of the new term and the last before the September international window.
It will be televised live, on Sky Sports.
📆 FIXTURE UPDATE: The opening Old Firm match of the season will now take place on Sunday August 29.
