Fernando Torres to Rangers? Surely not….
The Spanish football icon who has won some of the biggest tournaments in football announced that he is picking the boots back up again in an Instagram post reported by The Sun:
“I only understand life in one way – playing. That’s why I’ve decided to return.
“This Friday I will communicate where.”
He’s going to Rangers , it’s done deal apparently

The 37-year old was known for his lightning speed and finishing until injuries hampered both, although he now looks more suited to being a target man given the incredible transformation to his physique, however, this hasn’t stopped Rangers fans from pleading with Steven Gerrard to pick up the phone to his old team-mate.

Aside from the fact that he is 37 and hasn’t played since 2019, there isn’t any room for another goal scoring veteran, that place is already taken up by Jermain Defoe, and at least he can still run! The window hasn’t even opened yet and we’ve easily seen the most bizzare rumour of the summer, or have we…?
