Rangers missed the chance to move back into second place ahead of Hibernian after a draw at Falkirk on Friday. This could have been worse as the hosts had the better chances to win at the Falkirk Stadium, with our failure to win likely to see the gap between us and second extended by the end of Saturday….

Falkirk started well and could have taken an early lead with a Loy cross just needing a touch but we made the breakthrough when Law’s freekick was flicked on by Boyd for McGregor (20) to finish when the defence couldn’t clear.

Our goal, which was against the run of play, brought us some cheer but this wasn’t something that lasted for long as Baird’s cross into Loy (22) saw him head home to draw Falkirk level within a couple of minutes.

We threatened a little more in the second half but couldn’t make the breakthrough again as the game ended in a one-one draw.

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
