Rangers supporters are delighted by reports that the club have agreed a deal to sign Motherwell winger Jake Hastie on a pre-contract basis.
The Scottish Sun say that that winger has put pen to paper on a four-year deal that will see him join up with Steven Gerrard’s first-team squad at the end of the current season.
A development fee will have to be paid to the Fir Park side for the 20-year-old, according to the report, but the deal is still a bargain and something of a coup having beaten a number of other clubs to his signature.
Only breaking into the Motherwell first-team this season, he’s scored seven goals in 14 appearances, emerging as one of the more exciting prospects in the Scottish Premiership.
