Both Aston Villa and Newcastle United remain interested in James Tavernier as the deadline in England looms large in this transfer window – according to Football Insider.
Rangers are back in the swing of things league-wise after a win yesterday afternoon at Kilmarnock and though it was a late victory, it was a big early three points.
However, it remains to be seen how the squad is going to be looking for most of the campaign, as it seems as though Tavernier is of interest to the pair this summer.
With a few days left in the transfer window for Premier League sides, both Newcastle and Aston Villa will have to act quickly if they want to sign the defender, with both apparently in the market for a new right-back.
The report suggests we want at least £10m for him, meanwhile, and hopefully that’ll be enough to deter them from making any bids.
