English side looking to twist Rangers arm in bid for key star

|

According to the Scottish Sun, Crystal Palace were at Tynecastle on Sunday afternoon as they took a closer look at Alfredo Morelos with a view to making a move for him in January.

Indeed, according to the report, Palace are weighing up a move of around £20m for the player in the winter window as they look to force Rangers into selling up.

It’s certainly a good price for the player but I do think that we could get even more for him at the end of the season with the start that he has made and the maturity that he is showing.

Indeed, with us looking to win the league this season, it would also make no sense at all to let him go in the next window as replacing him is going to be a hard task, not one for the window in the middle of the campaign.

Palace are welcome to try, but I’m hopeful that the Gers are going to stand firm.
