Leeds United are keen on signing on-loan Rangers winger Ryan Kent this summer, according to website Football Insider.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is reported to be very interested in bringing the exciting 22-year-old talent back to Ibrox after the expiration of his loan come the end of the season.

The winger has massively impressed fans during his spell in Glasgow with dynamic, exciting attacking play that has exposed many a defence in the Scottish Premiership.

With six goals and nine assists, there’s an argument to say he could have found more direct goal consistency, but many expect that to come to his game imminently given his improvement over the last eight months.

Football Insider say that Leeds are keeping tabs on his situation and they are hardly likely to be the only club interested in signing him from Liverpool on a temporary or permanent basis.

That makes Rangers’ mission to sign him again pretty tricky, but hopefully Gerrard can again utilise his Liverpool connections to convince them another season on loan at Ibrox is what’s best for his development and eventual transfer value.
