The greatest sight that I have ever seen.

Over the weekend, pictures have emerged from around the facade of Ibrox stadium.

Attractive vertical lamppost banners have been erected along the length of Edmiston Drive to give a timely lift to the surroundings of our wonderful stadium.

As can be seen from some images posted on Twitter today, the designs really make a positive impression – made even better with the Spring sunshine reflecting the glory of the historic main stand at Ibrox.

With further upgrades planned, as well as the forthcoming rebuild of Edmiston House, the Ibrox stadium footprint is being modernised and looked after, after a period of neglect that is now behind us.

The catalyst for re-development is the 150th anniversary celebrations, which was recently launched with the unveiling of the commemorative crest .

The club has set its stall out and is confident that the historic occasion will be marked accordingly and in style as commercial director James Bisgrove commented:

“Everyone at Rangers understands the significance of this landmark moment, as we become the first major European club to reach this special milestone.”

“We are looking forward to unveiling a host of initiatives that will inspire Rangers supporters both in Scotland and across the globe to join the 150th-anniversary celebrations.”
