Rangers fans are celebrating a fourth victory on the trot after a comfortable 2-0 win for Steven Gerrard’s side against Aberdeen at Ibrox today.

Two penalties from James Tavernier secured the three points and ensured that Celtic will need to get a result at Pittodrie next week to win the Scottish Premiership title.

After so many disappointing results against the Dons this season it was a morale boosting win, building on recent impressive victories against Hearts and Motherwell.

Many fans picked out Scott Arfield as the team’s top performer, with the midfielder running the show in the middle of the park and combining multiple times with Jermain Defoe to create chances.

He’s had an excellent end the season that augurs well for 2019/20. If he can maintain this kind of form over the course of a season we’ll surely be challenging for major honours.
