It hasn’t been officially confirmed by Rangers but the BBC is among those reporting Clint Hill will leave at the end of the season, Philippe Senderos will join him in taking his leave of Ibrox.

On-loan Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman has seen his loan cut short by injury, veteran former QPR defender Hill and ex-Arsenal man Senderos are poised to leave Rangers too when one year deals expire.

Hill, hopeful of securing a new deal, has been informed Pedro Caixinha doesn’t see him as part of his future plans, according to Sky Sports. Hill, 38, has scored six goals in 31 appearances for Rangers, he is likely to return to England, where Tranmere, Stoke and Crystal Palace are counted among his former clubs.

The exit of Senderos, 32, is less surprising and isn’t likely to see too many that disappointed. Mark Warburton has signed the Swiss international, sent off on his Rangers debut, a 5-1 thrashing at Celtic in September. Senderos made a further three appearances for the Gers.

Young Player of the Year, Hyndman will be the greatest loss, the American was coming towards the end of his season-long loan anyway and a permanent deal wasn’t ever on the cards.
