‘Don’t even consider selling him’ – Many Rangers fans hate the idea of premature midfield exit

Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty

Rangers fans are not impressed with reports that Greg Docherty could be on his way out of Ibrox this summer.

The Scottish Sun have reported this week his Ibrox future is in doubt with too many players ahead of him in the midfield queue, despite having an impressive season out on loan at English League One side Shrewsbury Town.

The paper say Hibernian are leading the chase for his signature on a permanent or temporary deal this summer.

With ten goals and eleven assist this season, Docherty has regularly turned the heads of interested Rangers fans this season, proving to be quite the creative attacking threat from midfield.

Many are hoping he will get a chance in Steven Gerrard’s team this season, believing he has the ability and passion to be an eventual hit at Ibrox.

Still just 22 years of age, he has plenty of time to make his name in Glasgow.

These fans have taken to Twitter today to share their thoughts on his future…
