Rangers fans have been responding to social media rumours that the club could make a move for Danny Welbeck this summer.
Welbeck’s contract at English Premier League side Arsenal expires at the end of the season and some seem to think this could open the door for the Gers to make an outlandish move for the former Manchester United man.
The 28-year-old has struggled massively with injuries over the last few seasons and has made just 14 appearances for the Gunners this term.
Still, when he does play he remains a potent goal threat and in the Scottish Premiership could have a field day up against opposition defenders.
Gers supporters appear to be unconvinced though, feeling his high wages and fitness problems make him someone to be avoided.
Should Steven Gerrard make a blockbuster move to sign the 42-cap England international?

As someone who also likes arsenal… no chance, is only fit for about 10 games a season and it's a roll of the dice as to whether he'll turn up in those games or not.

Nope, Let's not be going down the route of buying a player who has a tendency to get injured then Rangers are paying mental wages for a player who is constantly sidelined.

That is an embarrassing rumour that bad boy. The guy is on bonkers money and is Injured 80% of the time. Even if we had the money why would we sign Wellbeck or Carroll. Both are made of single glazing Council glass.
