Rangers fans are not pleased to hear that a potential move for Motherwell winger Jake Hastie has broken down.
The Evening Times reported on Tuesday evening that Rangers have pulled out of an agreed deal to sign the 20-year-old after stalling on the details over the last few weeks.
The paper reckon that the recruitment team at Ibrox will now turn their attention to others such as Ryan Kent and Greg Stewart.
Hastie has burst onto the Scottish Premiership scene in recent months, scoring six goals for the Steelmen since January and emerging as one of the most exciting talents in the division.
Have Hastie’s representatives stalled on confirming the switch to Ibrox to court offers from elsewhere? Doing so may be in the best interests of the player in theory, but he may now be missing out on being part of an exciting Rangers project.
Rangers supporters took to Twitter this week to share their thoughts on the news…
The players’ agent should be ashamed of himself. Clearly auctioning Hastie off to the highest bidder, regardless of what’s in his best interest from a playing perspective. Perhaps young Hastie should speak to Scott Allan and ask how that worked out.

If we get Kent permanently then not to bothered but if we dont then I feel we could have missed an opportunity with Hastie
