Rangers have finally released the evidence that they believe is enough to clean up Scottish football and see the suspensions of high ranking officials within the game.

The Ibrox club has been far from happy with the SPFL throughout the whole shutdown of Scottish football following the coronavirus outbreak, believing that they are driving an agenda rather than acting in the best interests of it’s members.

The resolution vote was shrouded in mystery and suspicion with a series of claims and counter claims doing little other than muddy the already significantly cloudy water.

The SPFL has since been on a charm offensive with Murdoch MacLennan, Neil Doncaster and the board (minus Rangers own Stewart Robertson), releasing open letters and performing TV interviews, the most bizarre being MacLennan’s question and answer session with himself – needless to say he passed with flying colours.

Robertson is pencilled in for a TV interview after overseeing the dissemination of evidence to the member clubs in what is sure to be an explosive and potentially monumental day in football north of the border.

With the SPFL EGM arranged for next week, clubs will be voting on whether or not Rangers evidence is enough to warrant a truly independent investigation with Doncaster et al, firmly under the spotlight.

Rangers fans will be hoping that it is a turning of the tide with actions finally speaking louder than words as they set about those charged with running the game in Scotland.
