Rangers got back to winning ways on what proved to be a good weekend for us in the SPFL Premiership.
Celtic might have won as well but at least we kept the points gap to them as small as it could be and with Hearts losing overall things have tightened up at the top.
Certainly, it was good to see the Gers respond in a fine fashion whilst one former Rangers man has also been able to offer a response to some criticism and that person is Kris Boyd.
The striker is still going with him at Kilmarnock now and he scored his first goal of the season from the penalty spot against Aberdeen at the weekend.
