Rangers are back in league action this lunchtime as we take on St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.
A fine win over Feyenoord in the week is now forgotten about and it’s back to the bread and butter of league football, which is where we need to keep the pressure up on Celtic.
A three-point haul this weekend would certainly be ideal but it’s going to be tough away at the Saints, and so Steven Gerrard will need to make sure that his team is ready to go.
We kick-off at the rather strange time of 12:15 this afternoon and with Celtic kicking off at 1 at Celtic Park, we have the chance to apply real pressure on them as we’re playing.
We have to focus on ourselves first of all, though, and Gerrard has named the side he will be hoping gets the victory this afternoon.
