‘Clown’, ‘Should be dropped’ – Many Rangers fans left fuming by one player despite Ibrox victory

|

Rangers fans aren’t happy with goalkeeper Allan McGregor after his pointless sending off against Hibs on Sunday.

The veteran shot-stopper received a straight red card for needlessly kicking out at opponent Marc McNulty in the final stages of yesterday’s 1-0 win.

His actions mean he should be suspended for the upcoming Old Firm derby at Ibrox, unless the club decide to chance their arm with a cheeky appeal.

It’s just the latest incident of ill-discipline in the Rangers squad this season with manager Steven Gerrard failing to get to the root cause of our massive amount of red and yellow cards in 2018/19.

It’s something he needs to figure out ahead of the new campaign. If we keep continually being let down by our most important players then our trophy chances are at a big and immediate disadvantage.

Supporters were not impressed at all with McGregor, taking to Twitter to make their feelings clear…
