Rangers supporters aren’t keen on the idea of signing Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam, after he told Sky Sports he was interested in a move back to Ibrox.
Adam has struggled to get regular action at the Potters in the Championship this term and is looking for a team he get week-to-week action at.
The former Liverpool man, who left Rangers way back in 2009, is probably now below the standards we require to challenge for major honours, with his ability and fitness clearly deteriorating in recent seasons.
That, coupled with the numbers already available in the heart of the Gers midfield, makes this deal likely a non-starter.
The club have made it clear that the transfer priorities lie in attack, with Gerrard seeking a creative number 10 and a striker when the window opens.
Rangers fans have given any potential move for Adam the thumbs down, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on his comments…

Think it would be difficult cos he's clearly not good enough

No it would be difficult because he’s about 2 stone over weight and wouldn’t get into the squad or the bench

Charlie Adam trying to worm his way back to Rangers????
We’ve all read the first impressions from some of the Liverpool squad during Adam’s first training session at the reds, surely Stevie’s looking for a higher calibre of player these days.
