Rangers have had a good summer window so far and it is clear that the Gers have a great deal to be optimistic about for the league campaign coming up.

Indeed, in one potential boost to our chances of seeing exactly that, the Evening Times is suggesting that Crystal Palace may well have moved away from trying to sign the South American.
They argue that because Palace have now signed Jordan Ayew from Swansea City they might not want to go after our man now and that would be a real shot in the arm for us.
Of course, until we get to the deadline with him still in blue, though, there will still be some concern over his future.
