A first win in four, as we reacted to the defeat against Hibernian, saw Rangers move back into second place behind Hearts in the Championship on Friday – albeit temporarily….

This outcome at Stark’s Park, a two-one win, is a result we would have expected against them in the Scottish Cup recently when they dumped us out.

Murdoch (35) couldn’t have wished for a better goal as his first got the club when he smashed the ball into the top corner from outside of the area to send us into the break one-up.

Shortly after the break our superiority saw a second goal added as Boyd (54) scored from close range to make it two but with 20-minutes to play Raith set up a possible tense finale when a first effort on target when Conroy’s (70) effort was deflected home.

We did enough to see out a two-one win though.

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
