There is a strong argument that Celtic fans prefer losing.

Despite a period of dominance in Scottish football that brought an uninterupted run of silverware, sections of their support just cant accept their current fate.

The ‘natural order’ in Glasgow has resumed, Rangers are Champions and some had better get used to it.

Celtic have been defeated, not cheated but at least some can continue, to rant, rave, cry and complain about almost everything that isn’t to their liking.

This afternoon on ‘A Celtic State of Mind’ podcast, one of their contributors launched into a full-on diatribe.

Turn up the volume and enjoy!

The jist of it was that there is a disparity between the Scottish FA’s treatment of Rangers compared to Celtic and that they are ‘getting treated different’.

Please.

From the Five Way Agreement, to Rangers first title, Steven Gerrard’s car, to jubilant Rangers players leaving Auchenhowie together after the title celebrations.

This was something of a ‘woe is me’ greatest hits collection with added Sevco.

Stop crying and take your medicine, for goodness sake.
