Where do you start?

Anybody with half a brain could see that Celtic’s trip to Dubai was a bad idea for a whole host of reasons, and then to show such a blatant disregard to the current protocols and procedures in place to protect players and staff, well, is anybody surprised at the latest news?

Thirteen players and three staff members having to self isolate as a result of being in close contact with Christopher Jullien – who has tested positive – means that Rangers, if they didn’t already have the upper hand, can now see the finishing line in the Scottish Premiership title race with a 21 point lead at the top.

The whole fiasco has, of course, been of great hilarity to Rangers fans, basking in the warmth that has been Celtic’s lurch from one disaster to another in “the biggest season in their history”, here is a selection of some of Twitter’s finest responses to their latest shambles:

Rangers fans should enjoy the current mess that is Celtic, they might try to push the null and void narrative but there remains no foundation for this as long as we, and every other club, stick to the rules laid out by the governing bodies and Holyrood – when a rival is making mistakes, don’t interrupt them or offer advice, just let them carry on and reap the benefits.
