It’s been a long weekend of celebrating for Rangers supporters after witnessing Steven Gerrard’s side shock Celtic with a 1-0 victory at Ibrox on Saturday.
Given our record against them in recent seasons, and our recent form, hopes weren’t high we could pick up all three points against the visiting Hoops, but we absolutely destroyed them and on another day could have scored another two or three goals.
A Ryan Jack strike in the first half ensured the win, sending Ibrox into raptures and silencing gloating Celtic fans who have had their own way for far too long.
Jack was absolutely superb throughout, clearly pouring everything into his midfield performance to deliver a famous win for his boyhood club.
The 26-year-old has had his ups and downs since signing from Aberdeen but over the last few months has emerged as one of the most important performers in Gerrard’s starting eleven.

Ryan Jack is the perfect example of why new signings need time. Injuries and inconsistencies have saw fans say he isnt good enough. This season he has been outstanding though and finally coming into his own. Lets hope some of the others can show same kind of progress
