I think many of us are looking forward to seeing what the future has to hold for our club with Steven Gerrard in charge.
The Gers have certainly started this season in good form and it seems as though there is real cause for optimism at the club right now.
Certainly, we’ve got a few things to work on but in Europe and in the league we are pretty well placed right now.
That in mind, then, it looks as though the future of the club is in the right place and that can be said with some of the young players coming through.
Young Liam Burt looks to be potentially part of that, as well, with him scoring two goals in a heavy win for the youth side recently.
Indeed, after getting a brace he took to Twitter to reflect on things:
